Stretching 26 miles from our base at head of the navigation to the Sea at Cattawade, the River Stour meanders through quiet and transquil villages, areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty and several protected habitats and nature reserves - explore it all by canoe, kayak or paddle board!

Our fleet of stable canoes are perfect for up to 2 adults and 2 young children! All hires include buoyancy aids. We suggest that canoes are best paddled with TWO adults / participants and that <12's are best thought of as 'passengers'.

Enjoy the river from a completely different perspective!! We stock a fleet of stable solid boards for use on the Stour and available for 'take away' by arrangement.

Lower in water than canoes, kayaks provide a faster and great fun trip - just be warned you will get a wet bottom! Our Sit-On-Top kayaks are for single paddler use only. Note we don't hire to groups of one - it accepted best practice to paddle in at least twos, ideally threes just in-case an emergency situation occurs.
